Do you sometimes feel embarrassed because you cannot recall a phone number? Try an alternative way to memorize phone numbers.
Features: The program is an interesting twist on using the alphabetic characters on the number pad of a phone. 3 letters and in some cases four letters are associated with each key except for the 0 and 1 keys on the dial pad of most phone. That provides a nice way of associating and remembering a number. One of the many famous ones is 1-800-Flowers. What this program does is present you all the letter combinations that can be created for a number. You then choose one of them and associate with the number to be remembered in the fashion of example discussed.
Not only phone numbers any sequence of numbers can be associated with a mnemonic which is easy to remember. Even if you write down these numbers in the text form and you do not want others to make them out then this a way of ensuring privacy. The numbers would look like a set of text strings, possibly a set of passwords.
Overall: Unless the letter combinations mean something this entire exercise may not make it easy to remember. There are too many variations that are generated. It may take significant amount of time to arrive at a text string that is easy to remember. Difficult to say how much use it is going to be, but the function is implemented with a simple interface.
